OSSL soil spectroscopy prediction API
How it is run today: Vendor API (pass-through); Self-host open weights or process code
The Open Soil Spectral Library (OSSL) Engine takes VisNIR, NIR, or MIR soil spectra and predicts soil properties with uncertainty and representativeness flags.
Pass-through today is partial. There is an experimental plumber API (testing; about 20 spectra per request) and a web Engine UI. It is not a hard SLA product.
We would wrap that experimental API carefully, or run the models ourselves if code and weights are available under their terms — confirm before promising. GPU is typically not required for Cubist-style spectral models. Follow OSSL / project terms (verify). The customer supplies properly formatted spectra (csv / asd / opus).
We do not already offer this as a production API. We do not guarantee a lab-grade property value.
