Hosted DeepWeeds classifier API
How it is run today: Self-host open weights or process code
DeepWeeds is a multiclass Australian weed-species image classification dataset, with reference deep models in the repo. It is good for training or fine-tuning a weed classifier. It is not a product API by itself, and there is no hosted DeepWeeds API to pass through.
To deliver one, we would train and serve a classifier on DeepWeeds or on customer data. A modest consumer or pro GPU is often enough for ResNet-class inference; the exact class is unknown until the model is chosen. We do not host GPUs today.
Images and annotations are CC BY 4.0; code is Apache-2.0. The customer supplies field photos (ideally matching species and geography) or accepts the Australian weed-species set.
We do not claim a ready DeepWeeds API. We do not guarantee species accuracy outside the training distribution.
